A New Year Means...

As we step into a new year, it brings with it the anticipation of our aspirations. This is the moment to establish new goals. Set fresh expectations and objectives for what we promise ourselves to achieve. For those who have chosen to revitalize the neglected or overlooked areas of their homes this year, let our team acquaint you with the trends of 2025 to spark your enthusiasm. If this idea doesn't excite you and you feel overwhelmed by the prospect of keeping up, we have a surprise for you!

The year 2025 invites you to embrace nature and the tranquility it offers. Although designs from previous years remain prevalent, this new year encourages a shift towards a more eco-friendly, natural perspective. This leads us to the 2025 color of the year, and we are thrilled about it! Just take a moment to appreciate this.

Pantone has officially crowned Mocha Mousse (PANTONE 17-1230) as its 2025 Color of the Year, setting the tone for interior design trends that exude warmth, sophistication, and grounded elegance. Inspired by the comforting inherent richness of coffee and chocolate, this hue perfectly balances indulgence and practicality, making it a versatile choice for interiors.

According to the Pantone Color Institute experts, Mocha Mousse is more than just a hue. It’s a statement of comfort and connection. Its earthy richness aligns with the growing desire to bring natural, calming elements into our homes.

This description alone evokes a warm and cozy sensation, and we're excited to create the most beautiful spaces! This doesn't mean everything will be simply brown. Think about the different tones that complement this shade and how beautifully they work together. Brown is timeless and offers a grounded connection to the earth, which we all deeply crave.

Now, I should also mention that we are still fully embracing all the trends that exist in all of their magical forms. Let us walk you through a few.

Nods to Nature through Textures as we enter the new year. We are now more than ever as a society becoming hyper aware of what we are putting in our body and on our body. Many options give you the opportunity to shop with that mindset in consideration. Another way of looking at it is bringing accents of nature in.

Cozy Maximalism is an interior design style that combines the comfort of a cozy space with the abundance of maximalist decor. Often used when space does not come easily, bringing in a designer to help maximize the use of your space without feeling crowded is the definition of well designed.

Comfort as the top priority embodies a design that prioritizes comfort in our minds. It envisions a seating experience that feels inviting. This design features gently contoured furniture to evoke a calm sophistication that is both elegant and accessible.

Curvy Pieces in the form of romantic silhouettes. Getting away from harsh lines and more soft curves.

Pattern drenching defined as using pattern throughout a space- from the upholstery to the wallpaper to the rugs, textiles, and, occasionally, even the ceiling.

From antiques to modern involves blending the old with the new. This trend is gaining popularity as older generations seek to add modern items to complement the antiques they've gathered over the years, which often hold significant sentimental value. Meanwhile, younger generations have also developed an appreciation for the timeless appeal of antiques.

As I depart, I have a single question for you. How do you plan to welcome 2025?

XOXO-

Eleve
